Words From Co-Founders

As co-founders of Kiddie Academy, we share the vision of creating an educational environment which allows children to explore and discover the English language creatively and proficiently. With extensive teaching experience and academic background, we have devised our own phonics programme based upon the principles of letters and sounds. Leveraging a range of resources and strategies tailored to the specific needs of students in Hong Kong, our phonics programme aims at building our students’ ability to spell and read independently.

After building a strong reading and spelling foundation in their earlier years, we then proceed to strengthen and develop the core English skills required for them to succeed at a primary level. With a thorough understanding of how English education is done differently in local and international schools, we divided our classes into two separate streams to facilitate and maximise students’ learning as efficiently as possible.

At Kiddie Academy, we aspire to not only equip our students with the technical usage of the English language but also instil interest and confidence in them. We believe that a happy, stimulating learning environment is the best way to motivate students to become lifelong learners and users of English.
